Aries is a clinical research leader with a background in emergency nursing and a passion for
making trials more accessible through community-based models.
He founded Orizzonte to integrate clinical research into UK primary care, helping sponsors and
CROs reach diverse, local populations more effectively.
Aries has led research operations across both NHS and private sectors, including building the
research unit at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and expanding delivery
capacity at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals.
He holds a Master’s in Clinical Research Delivery from King’s College London and brings deep
expertise in patient engagement, regulatory delivery, and cross-sector collaboration.
Dr Keekeebhai is an experienced GP and digital health leader dedicated to integrating research
into everyday primary care. As Lead Principal Investigator at Orizzonte, he oversees trial delivery
across our GP network, ensuring quality and compliance.
He is a GP partner and PI at West Green Surgery, a key Orizzonte hub. He also serves as Regional
Clinical Lead (London) for NHS England’s Digital First Primary Care programme and as a Specialist
Medical Advisor to the CQC.
Formerly Chief Clinical Information Officer, he focused on safe, data-driven tech adoption.
His work bridges frontline care, regulation, and digital innovation to shape a modern, patient-centred
research environment.
