Community-Centric Model For Clinical Trials
Welcome to Orizzonte, a Site Management Organisation (SMO) dedicated to enhancing clinical research by collaborating with General Practices (GPs) within the UK’s primary care system. Our mission is to deliver high-quality clinical trials that benefit patients, GPs, and the overall UK healthcare system.
The UK’s primary care system, particularly General Practice, is a cornerstone of the National Health Service (NHS) and plays a crucial role in the overall healthcare landscape. At Orizzonte, we leverage this integral component by partnering with GP practices across london. This collaboration allows us to identify suitable patients through GP databases and conduct research visits both at GP sites and our dedicated Orizzonte sites.
Our range of services is designed to support every aspect of clinical trials. We ensure the seamless execution of clinical trials from patient recruitment to data management, enhancing the quality and efficiency of each study. Our thorough assessments evaluate the practicality and potential success of your study, while our efficient recruitment processes identify and enrol suitable participants promptly. Additionally, we develop customised, scientifically rigorous study protocols that align with your research objectives.
Conducting research visits directly within GP practices and Orizzonte sites makes clinical trials more accessible and community-centric. This approach increases patient engagement and retention, leading to more reliable and comprehensive data and improved patient retention.
For GPs, partnering with Orizzonte means being at the forefront of medical advancements without compromising patient care. Our collaboration provides GPs with additional resources and support, allowing them to participate in cutting-edge research while maintaining their primary care responsibilities.
